twinkling eyes

seeing but not seeing

i come to visit

knowing you are not there

in the warmth of my memory

you reside happily

twinkling eyes teasing

smile hiding behind the stern lips

erasing the line between life and death

the dance of souls continue in different plane

  1. Sigh...that last line is glorious Arathi....I absolutely love this poem. Our memory and our dreams are a place we have the opportunity to appreciate our loved one's twinkling eyes once more.

  12. Is this for Poetry Jam? There's no reference and the link brings you to your blog, not the specific poem that goes with the prompt.
