to grandpa..with love

image :google

life was always cruel to him
he bore it with a smile
even when his vocal chords were removed
he still wanted to talk...
he didn't bow to cancer
it left him with respect
he was an adorable grandpa
he taught us all how to live
to respect and accept life
to welcome life with a smile
allowing it to flow in you
and when time comes to say bye
no regrets but love, love and only love...

My grandfather was diagnosed with throat cancer. His vocal chords were removed.( this happened in early 1960's..when cancer was a very rare disease ..there was no proper treatment available). He had a hole in his throat. He never complained about his condition. The ability to accept the reality and to live is a rare commodity. He went on to live for 40 plus years after the removal of his tumour. He was a surprise case to the doctors. He lived his life to the fullest...of 83 years..

coalescing in silence

deep inside the heart

I dwell in silence

witnessing the play of life

illuminated by me

when the play is over

quietude remains

stumbling in the dark

image : google

when I was stumbling in the darkness

You held my hand and led the way

the light You emitted lit the path

merging in You I became life

understanding the pulse of Universe

resonating in Your Love

joyous it runs in every heart

binding everyone in its warmth

the darkness engulfing me was inside and outside

the temporary blindness made the other senses more alive

perceiving life was very easy here

there was nothing to judge..

there was no difference of black or white

just the acceptance of what was real

abiding in the core

I vanished and light came

spreading in and out and everywhere

I became the pure love shinning in the center

Joyous and celebrating life...

walking in the beach

walking bare foot on the sand

acts as therapy to my aching feet

the giggling waves tease my toes

leaving behind the moist memories

the saltiness in air matches my tears

I taste them with love...

I expand inside to allow life to happen

witnessing the journey ...

one step at a time

image: google

Left foot, left foot, left foot, right....
I was reading Dr.Seuss poem from the Foot book
my little one was looking at her feet
folding her feet in my hand
I remembered the feeling of this feet
kicking in my stomach
the feet which wore the cute booties
the feet which took those tiny first steps
the feet which will take her a long way
stumbling now and then
confident of standing firm
taking one step at a time....

perfect life was her's to live
she searched for the perfect love
finding it she forgot her identity
alas it was too late
pain of betrayal was unbearable to tolerate
she was immersed in the world of pain
pain, agony, hate, anger, grief, anguish and heartache
these septenary became her foe
unable to bear them she tries to fight
like a trapped bird in a hunters net..

human first..

trying to achieve so many things

running the race against time

without hesitating to commit crime

we forget that we are human first

Just a thought

what is the guideline for good or bad?

where is this thought arising from?

putting labels under every human

confining the life itself

condemning the creator

He has no labels with him..
can we dare to put one....
