My Raaga

As music is a integral part of me I thought instead of writing a poem let me share my music with you all. Here I am singing a Indian semi classical song of goddess saraswathi who according to Indian Mythology is the goddess of music. Here the request is for the goddess to give blessing to the whole world and take everyone in the path of light.
Hope you all enjoy this. This is a unplugged version. As we all know that music has no language..let it touch your heart..

    Thank you so much for the music... it was really cool. I love how you say, "music has no language" - I agree. there are a few songs I absolutely love that are sung in Japanese... smiles

    Easy peasy to link up & listen for me; what a beautiful voice you have. Oddly, as I listened I found my self weeping, having a visceral emotional reaction to the music; not understanding the words did not mask the power of the music--it's like when I hear certain cello music; instant tears--some notes just resonate emotion for me; thanks for the lesson in universal joy, sorrow, & humanity.

    Your raaga is very soothing. I enjoyed that three plus minutes of listening to your voice while sipping tea. An unexpected treat on a gray Chicago day.
