like bitter and sweet almonds
life is full of contrasts
I am neither, I am the pure happiness
you can call me bliss, peace or joy
I am there in everyone's heart
You have to open the shell called ego
You will find me waiting like Phyllis
embrace me with love
topic : happiness, almonds
It is the contrasts in life that make it interesting, and it is good to embrace them!
ReplyDeleteWhat we find behind the shell is always more precious and worthwhile than what meets the eye.

It's truly difficult to break that adamantine wall to reach the most precious treasure...beautifully done..
ReplyDeleteWho is Phyllis?
ReplyDeleteIn Greek mythology the almond tree is represented by the beautiful princess Phyllis. Left at the altar on her wedding day, Phyllis waited for years before finally perishing of a broken heart. In sympathy, the gods transformed her into an almond tree, as a symbol of hope. When Phyllis' fiancee returned to find her as a leafless, flowerless tree, he embraced it and the tree burst into bloom.

DeleteLove the use of ego as a shell. I enjoyed this.
ReplyDeleteLove the way you bring out happiness from the shell
