a desire to see you was always in the heart

but I knew 

I had  to wait for your call 

 only if you wish then it would happen

many have waited lifetimes to see you

here I was with this heart full of love

wondering, waiting, wanting

suddenly you call me

 giving me no time to prepare

I come to you

eyes filled with dreams

to see you

to touch you

to hold you in my hands

to pour my heart out

oh! my beloved  how you tricked me

laughing at my predicament

teaching me to live

to go with the flow

to give up expectations

to see clearly

 to just be

you so gently made me understand

you are ever present in my heart
